Irregular and double Plurals.

§ 166. Some Arabic nouns which form their
Plurals irregularly occur in Persian. The chief of
these are: —

Plural.

Jul (insa‘n), man (homo). “PL. (7263), human beings.
. Ci (akh), brother. Cabal, (ikhva‘n), brethren.

. .34 (Wt), sister. a! (akhavc‘z‘t), sisters.

4: “.5 (famm), mouth. obgl’ (afva'h), rumour.

Singular.
